The Role

NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain.

Our main objective is to create, deliver and maintain insurance product management solutions, as service propositions to enable any agent (linked or direct), machine or company to create and sell insurance products in Europe in an automated way and real time.

We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group

On this occasion, we offer an indefinite contract of Power BI Platform Engineer position.

Join our Data Management Services team to enhance, implement, and administer our company-wide data analytics and reporting platforms, specifically focusing on the Power BI Gateway platform across Azure, AWS, and on-prem servers. Collaborate with team members to automate, optimize, and manage these platforms. Your expertise will help scale our cloud environment and integrate new technologies. Bring your platform skills and professionalism to be a key player in our data-driven organization.

What you are going to do
  • Manage and innovate the Power BI Gateway platform used across the company, ensuring seamless analytics and reporting capabilities.

  • Facilitate the use of Power BI for our Data Engineers, providing support and maintaining communication with technical stakeholders to enable them to create innovative data solutions and products.

  • Carry out Operations & Service Delivery, including Change Management, Configuration Management, Life-cycle Management (LCM), and resolving complex incidents and problems.

  • Ensure security and compliance is maintained in accordance with company policy requirements and procedures.

  • Proactively enhance infrastructure availability and stability, including monitoring, reliability management tasks, and developing and deploying automations through CI/CD pipelines on Azure Cloud.

Who you are
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and thinking level.

  • 3+ years of experience in IT and change projects.

  • Knowledge and skills on Azure Cloud infrastructure, systems and tools

  • Azure DevOps experience with setting-up pipelines.

  • Basic Knowledge on Data Management and Data Engineering. 

  • Good command of spoken and written English. 

  • Demonstrably developed problem-solving ability.

  • Collaboration skills and you are a good communicator

  • Experience in agile (Scrum) way of working.

Optional qualifications:
  • Experience using Bash, Azure CLI, PowerShell, REST API, and Terraform is an advantage.

  • Knowledge and skills regarding security and compliance are advantageous.

  • Familiarity with Power BI and related reporting tools is a plus.

  • Experience with AWS is an advantage.
