Qualifications and Skills:

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

·       6+ years of experience as a Data Modeler, Data Architect, or similar role, with a focus on data platform design and modeling.

·       Strong expertise in data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.

·       Proficiency in Power BI and its various components, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.

·       Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, relational databases, and dimensional modeling.

·       Hands-on experience with Power BI and creating semantic layers for self-service reporting.

·       Experience with data integration and ETL tools, such as ADF, SSIS or other relevant platforms.

·       Solid SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·       Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

·       Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and business needs.

·       Design and create logical and physical data models that ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.

·       Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and ease of use.

·       Utilize Power BI's advanced features, such as DAX expressions, custom visuals, and Power Query, to enhance data visualizations and analytics capabilities.

·       Develop visually appealing and interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide insights into key business metrics.

·       Integrate data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

·       Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to transform and cleanse raw data from diverse sources into a unified format suitable for reporting and analysis.

·       Monitor and maintain data quality to guarantee accuracy and reliability in reporting and decision-making processes.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide timely solutions.

·       Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

·       Continuously analyze and fine-tune data models and queries to improve report loading times and overall system performance.

·       Document data models, data flows, and other technical aspects of the Power BI solutions.

·       Conduct training sessions and provide knowledge transfer to end-users and team members.
