Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data visualization, DAX, Power Query, and data integration to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, publish, and manage Power BI reports & dashboards tailored to business needs.
- Design and optimize data models using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
- Connect, extract, and transform data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, Azure, etc.).
- Configure and manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, and refresh schedules.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and other access controls to ensure data security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver insights.
- Optimize report performance through best practices in DAX and Power BI service settings.
- Stay up to date with Power BI features and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or a Business Analyst
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or BI Analyst.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query (M language).
- Hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Experience integrating data from cloud-based and on-premises sources such as SQL, Snowflake and MS Fabric
- Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
