Role: Power BI Developer
Location: Houston TX (Hybrid) - Prefer Local
Job type: Contract
Technical Skills:
Ø About 8+ years of total experience working on a self-service tool like Power BI
Ø Should be familiar and experienced in Power BI development
Ø Develop visual reports, dashboards and scorecards using Power BI
Ø Have depth and knowledge in being able to connect to various data sources, importing data and transforming data for gathering business intelligence
Ø Analytical thinking for translating data into visuals and reports with ability to do advance level calculations and query large data sets
Ø Experience with Talend ETL
Ø Experience with Snowflake Cloud Warehouse
Ø Experience in AWS Cloud
Ø Experience and strongly proficient in Core Python, Data handling and manipulation and exception handling.
Ø Should have experience in snowflake data warehouse
Ø Proficient at DAX querying
Ø Developing, publishing Power BI reports as per the BU needs
Ø Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly
Ø Ability to plan, execute projects to deliver in time and with quality
Good to have:
· Microsoft Power BI certification.
· Experience in QlikView
· Experience in Tableu
· AWS Cloud experience
