sa.global is looking for a motivated, driven, and skilled Power BI Architect to join our dynamic consulting team in India!
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Power BI architecture
- Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define BI solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance
- Develop ETL processes using Power BI data gateway, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Fabric or other tools
- Implement data visualization best practices
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and data governance policies
- Define BI framework model, semantic layers and Metadata repositories to support reporting and administration
- Stay up-to-date with Power BI updates and new features
Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft BI tools, preferably Power BI
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL
- Proficient in DAX, M, and Power Query
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure, or other relational databases
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
- Knowledge of data visualization principles
- Good to have ERP experience
- Candidates with Microsoft certifications are preferred
- Excellent business communication skills with effective presentation and demonstration skills
- Ability to guide junior team members and co-ordinate with them to deliver above and beyond commitments
- Strong learning orientation with regards to new technologies and implementing them
- Self-starter and initiative taker
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Bachelor in Engineering/Bachelor in Technology, BCA graduate or Diploma in Engineering
