- Guide L2/L1 teams on operational
tasks, SOP improvements, and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical
documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Manage security audits and cab
activities as per compliance.
- Manage and close offence raised
by Security team.
- Manage PostgreSQL clusters,
users, files, roles, backups, recovery, and routine maintenance.
- Perform query tuning, index
optimization, and configuration adjustments in PostgreSQL.
- Support Postgres
migrations/version upgradations when required.
- Knowledge on foreign data
wrappers.
- Knowledge on SSL, password less
and TLS authentication.
- Oversee backup & recovery
strategies, RPO/RTO planning, and DR testing.
- Conduct capacity planning,
storage monitoring, and growth forecasting.
- Provide Support in DC/DR drills
as well as in weekend mock activities.
Skills Required
- B.E./Diploma/BSC/BTech/BCA (No education gap, Full time)
- 6-8 years as a PostgreSQL DBA relevant experience
- Deep expertise in Postgres server internals and performance tuning

- Strong understanding of Postgres security and hardening
