***We are looking for a PostgreSQL Administrator to join our team within a leading company in the banking industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational and architectural support for PostgreSQL databases.
- Manage and maintain Couchbase and MySQL environments which is also in the tech stack.
- Perform RHEL / Linux system administration activities.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation via bash scripting.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support critical issues when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields).
- 4–8 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL administration.
- Working experience with Couchbase and MySQL
- Solid knowledge of RHEL environments.
- Proficiency in Ansible and bash scripting
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership of technical projects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- B2–C1 English proficiency, especially for documentation and verbal/written communication.
