DESCRIPTION

  • Post-Closing File Management
  • Ensure receipt of fully executed closing files from closing agents in a timely manner.
  • Review completed packages for accuracy and completeness and facilitate correction when necessary.
  • Deliver completed loan packages to lenders in accordance with required timelines.
  • Issue Resolution & Coordination
  • Obtain signatures on missing or additional documents from lenders, borrowers, and closing agents.
  • Remedy post-closing issues or missing items through direct communication with closing agents and consumers.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries received via post-closing email inboxes.
  • Compliance & Recording
  • Understand and comply with regulatory requirements related to funding, recording, and company policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of documents to appropriate counties for recording.
  • Monitor incoming recordings and update ResWare to reflect completed tasks.
  • Documentation & Systems
  • Complete Owner’s and Loan Policies.
  • Perform scanning, uploading, and image management as required.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a mortgage or title funding/closing environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with computers in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong clerical and computer aptitude.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry light items (up to 25 lbs.).
