Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for the post closing processes, including assisting with the balancing of files, the proper and timely recording of documents, and the tracking and obtaining of loan releases.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

- Provide support and assistance to the lending institutions and ensure that proper procedures are followed for the recording of documents. Handle all recording documentation that comes into the department including quickly and efficiently moving the package to the recording department, following up in a timely manner to correct incomplete or inaccurate recordings. Follow up with lenders and customers to ensure conditions have been met to release escrowed funds and earnest deposits. Track and obtain releases on paid off loans. Coordinate with underwriters to provide letters of indemnity to other title companies. Assist with reconciling and balancing closed files. (15-20%)
- Respond in a timely, professional manner to customer inquiries and requests from customers seeking documentation from closed files. (15-20%)
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-10%)

Qualifications
Education:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- One year data entry/accounting experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong computer skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills and superior customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Able to occasionally work extra hours during peak work loads.
Wage: $23.00 - $25.00 hourly; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for annual discretionary bonus.
