Job Summary:
The Positive Pay Analyst is responsible for reviewing items which have been rejected for various reasons to minimize the banks’ exposure to processing Positive Pay exceptions items for our 900 customers. The analyst will import transactions daily by utilizing two Positive Pay systems for a review process, to keep our customers and Treasury Management department informed of the various exceptions.

Responsible for reviewing rejected items that the bank receives.

Prepare files by utilizing Excel to separate each account by market and account number.

Performs corrections for assigned accounts, as needed.

Analyze the check numbers and dollar amounts for Positive Pay accounts. Assist with corrections needed through Precision and Centrix.

Review all markets to ensure the customers have logged and made decisions on their exception items.

Communicates with Treasury Management department for decision to pay or return process.
