This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced delivery professional who thrives in complex environments, can confidently influence senior stakeholders, and enjoys turning strategic ambitions into successful outcomes. You'll work across Product, Engineering, Data, Architecture and Business teams to deliver large-scale initiatives that create real value for our customers and colleagues.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of strategic Commercial Technology programmes and projects, ensuring they are delivered at pace while maintaining appropriate governance, financial control and delivery confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex technology initiatives from mobilisation through to implementation, transition and closure.
  • Translating product, business and technology roadmaps into integrated delivery plans, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable customer, operational and commercial outcomes.
  • Partnering with Product Managers, Engineering and business stakeholders to ensure delivery is aligned to product strategy, customer needs and measurable business outcomes.
  • Driving delivery across agile, hybrid and waterfall environments, selecting the most effective approach for each initiative.
  • Providing clear visibility of delivery progress, risks, costs, dependencies and business outcomes to senior stakeholders and executive forums.
  • Leading cross-functional planning and coordination across Product, Engineering, Data, Architecture, Security, Operations and Business Change teams.
  • Supporting product-led delivery by helping teams define, track and realise outcomes, benefits and value throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation and optimisation.
  • Managing project finances including forecasting, budgeting, variance management and value-for-money decisions.
  • Overseeing delivery by strategic partners and suppliers, ensuring contractual commitments and delivery expectations are achieved.
  • Ensuring technology solutions meet architecture, security, compliance, operational readiness and service requirements.
  • Resolving complex risks, issues and dependencies across multiple teams and business functions.
  • Coaching and mentoring Project Managers and delivery professionals to improve capability across the portfolio.
  • Supporting portfolio prioritisation, capacity planning and investment decisions while deputising for senior portfolio leadership where required.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience delivering large-scale technology, digital or commercial transformation programmes.
  • Strong experience operating within Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Experience working in product-led organisations, collaborating closely with Product Managers and engineering teams to deliver customer and business outcomes rather than simply completing project milestones.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, teams, suppliers and third-party partners.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and executives.
  • Strong financial management experience, including budget ownership, forecasting and supplier management.
  • Experience managing project governance, delivery assurance, risk management and executive reporting.
  • The ability to identify and resolve complex delivery challenges while maintaining momentum and delivery confidence.
  • Experience working across Product, Engineering, Data, Architecture, Information Security and Business Change functions.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and decision-making skills.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, coaching and developing delivery capability.
