The Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Portfolio Product Manager to drive cost effective strategies, enable cross-functional alignment, track performance, and ensure consistency in project execution. This critical role will be responsible for managing reporting, facilitating communication, and enforcing best practices across a portfolio of initiatives that align with our organizational goals. Ideal candidates are skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation, with a passion for delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leads Cost-Effective Strategies

  • Develop and manage cost-effective initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Product Line Managers (PLMs) and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and identify cost-efficiencies.
  • Ensure achievement of targets and timely execution

2. Drives Reporting and Alignment

  • Consolidate and prepare detailed reports on project performance and budget utilization.
  • Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for key initiatives.
  • Ensure all projects are aligned with broader business objectives and strategic priorities.

3. Facilitates Communication and Risk Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between teams and leadership, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Identify, monitor, and escalate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and oversee mitigation plans to address challenges proactively.

4. Ensures Project Consistency

  • Enforce portfolio-wide project management best practices to drive consistently high-quality outcomes.
  • Support reporting and updates for senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency across all levels.
  • Provide guidance and support to teams on operational execution and strategy alignment.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record in cost-efficiency initiatives and portfolio management.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to synthesize data and create actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and reporting platforms.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in e.g. manufacturing, technology industries.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
