Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Operations, the Portfolio Performance and Operations Manager will be responsible for enabling, maintaining, and growing CoreTrust’s partnership with our suppliers by driving collaboration and implementing and executing processes and procedures to support CoreTrust’s Portfolio and Contracting teams.
The Portfolio Performance and Operations Manager will leverage market insights, portfolio performance metrics, and governance frameworks to ensure understanding of inputs needed to influence decision making, foster portfolio innovation, and manage initiatives to ensure the Portfolio team meets organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Supplier and Portfolio Operations
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to manage a supplier relationship management program focused on success, performance, and value
- Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier-related challenges, facilitating swift resolution while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices in supplier relationship management to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Proactively identify opportunities for streamlining processes and implement
- solutions to improve financial and operational performance
Portfolio and Offering Management
- Gain a deep understanding of the portfolio offerings and associated KPIs to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Ensure portfolio roadmaps progress through development processes and coordinate offering launches
- Communicate offering changes, supplier updates, and contract modifications to internal teams and members
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices, communicating updates to portfolio leadership and relevant stakeholders
Data and Performance Analysis
- Prepare and analyze reports on supplier and portfolio performance using internal, market, industry, and investor datasets.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and member feedback collection to identify trends, challenges, and innovation opportunities.
- Utilizing comprehensive market analyses, competitor benchmarking, and member feedback assessments, identify actionable insights and innovation opportunities.
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
- Use data visualization and storytelling techniques to inform senior leadership and influence strategic decisions.
Reporting and Visualization
- Build, update, and maintain supplier and category dashboards in tools like Salesforce and PowerBI.
- Develop creative and efficient visualizations of aggregated data for leadership and supplier presentations.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting based on changing needs and troubleshoot reporting issues for the portfolio team.
- Supports other ad hoc Strategic Sourcing, Portfolio Operations, and Portfolio team reporting needs related to contract performance
- Monitor contract deadlines and key dates, and generate reports to identify potential risks and opportunities and ensure compliance to internal processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience such as in supplier relationship management, procurement or vendor operations, business development, or product operations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Finance, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, or Supply Chain preferred)
- Strong analytical and quantitative background
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Detail oriented with a proven record of delivering quality and consistent work
- Understanding of both macro and micro-level financial data
- Background in or understanding of market analysis, trend evaluation, and competitive benchmarking
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and partners (and collect requirements vice versa), and to communicate strategic implications and opportunities from analytical insights
- Consulting or Private Equity experience preferred
