As the Portfolio Marketing Manager within the Brand Marketing team, you will play a key role in the team responsible for coordinating new product innovation and portfolio-wide positioning activities for Study Group.
This pivotal role involves creating and maintaining differentiated value propositions, defining new product positioning and developing portfolio-wide collateral. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll identify key initiatives to expand brand reach, maximize student recruitment, and meet partner expectations.
Your expertise will contribute to the creation of innovative collateral and sales enablement tools, enhancing overall recruitment effectiveness and increasing brand awareness.
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Proposition development: Based on customer insight, support the development of differentiated, segmented propositions across our brand hierarchy, including clear positioning and messaging for customers and prospects.
  • In collaboration with the innovation team, lead on developing new propositions to support business development teams to drive university partner engagement but with an eye on driving future student recruitment and revenue.
  • Marketing campaigns: Contribute ideas, support and deliver the marketing and communications assets and toolkits for marketing and sales colleagues.
  • Responsibility for brand proposition and positioning around product categories such as Direct Admit (Recruit & Admit), Managed Degrees and Managed Campuses and new categories or products as they are developed.
  • Go to market planning & coordination - work with colleagues in Sales, Product, and wider marketing teams to design the optimum go to market approach for new products ensuring student recruitment, brand reach and partner satisfaction targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain consistency and accuracy across the portfolio collateral.
  • Expand the existing toolkit to include innovative groupings of partners to support core partner focus in each region.
  • Geographical Scope: The role will include significant interaction with both internal and external stakeholders globally.

ABOUT YOU
  • Experienced international marketing professional, with demonstrable success working with teams across an organization.
  • A strong commercially savvy professional with a successful track record in leading the marketing and communication of high value products or services with a long sales cycle into a global marketplace.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the international student marketplace and the challenges within the education sector.
  • An understanding of the international business environment and the challenges of working across multiple territories.
  • Experience of working in a multi-channel and matrix organisation.
  • Excellent oral communications, personal credibility and gravitas to be able to operate amongst senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
