As a Marketing Director at Equifax, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the marketing strategy for Public Safety government solutions, working to deliver on objectives to build awareness and influence multiple public safety personas, primarily focused on B2G and B2B2G routes to market. You will develop and execute sophisticated marketing strategies that address the unique challenges of personas across the public safety ecosystem. This role requires a blend of capabilities in product positioning, technical product marketing, and tactical B2G marketing program execution.

What you'll do:
  • Product Positioning & Product Marketing: Develop and execute customer problem-focused product positioning and messaging that resonates with government buying centers. Segment Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of topics, trends, and changing needs of law enforcement and public safety government programs and entities to inform innovation, engagement tactics, and content.

  • Sales Tool Development: Communicate value propositions and core messages to the sales team  and create “sales toolkits”..

  • Marketing Plan Strategy & Program Management: Develop and manage end-to-end product marketing launches and related marketing program plans across multiple channels, tracking effectiveness to ensure KPI transparency and revenue impact. Partner with Growth Marketing teams to guide and support delivery of marketing tactics and campaign execution.

  • Stakeholder Navigation: Independently manage complex projects by building exceptional internal relationships and navigating a dynamic workplace with limited oversight.

  • Market Insight: Manage & inform research initiatives that deliver insight and value to the Public Safety business.

  • Program Leadership: Lead delivery of marketing programs across functional marketing teams, tracking performance against established objectives.,  

What experience you need:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Marketing, with a focus on Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Content Creation.

  • Education: Functional expertise typically gained through a formal degree in Marketing or a related field.

  • Corporate & High-Matrix Org Navigation: Demonstrated experience working within a highly matrixed environment, navigating multiple decision-makers across multiple locations

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience selling or marketing to government entities, including understanding of government funding mechanisms.

  • Tactical Execution: Well-versed in product marketing planning and execution, taking ownership of new product launch introductions, from positioning and messaging through promotional campaign tactics.
