Your responsibilities:

Responsible for new products portfolio planning activities for Zentiva geographical perimeter. The Portfolio manager will have an opportunity to shape Zentiva’s short and long term strategy for generics products with a responsibility to contribute to company long range plan and identify new product opportunities and manage the evaluation, initialization and close cooperation on execution of the development and partnership projects. Your will have a chance to:

  • Constantly generate ideas for product opportunities in close cooperation with country organization counterparts and evaluate feasibility involving all key company stakeholders.

  • Build, refresh and follow company new products long range plan in close cooperation with country organizations and all involved stakeholders.

  • Evaluate project ideas considering expected net sales, rebates, market share, market access, and operational expenses.  

  • Define right sourcing according to internal R&D and manufacturing capabilities.

  • Set project targets and coordinate internal processes for product evaluation, selection and partner with all involved parties on project execution leading to successful launch on defined targets.

  • Set project targets and monitor on-going development and in-licensing projects. In cooperation with Business Development and other departments, ensure that our products reach all markets in a timely manner with the right IP profile and competitive COGs.

  • Evaluate options to extend available dossiers to new geographies. Support of the regions to start and plan customization projects

  • Be a part of the R&D budget preparation and create a development project prioritization to follow company R&D and New products strategy

  • Prepare project strategy with validated P&L and present to Zentiva senior management for approval.

  • Support Zentiva senior management with creating company business strategies.

We require:
  • University Degree in Natural Sciences, Business or Economics.

  • English, and preferably one more foreign language.

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Development, Portfolio Management, Business Development).

  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, its products and regulations, good understanding of the generic drug development process.

  • Understanding of commercial requirements and financial evaluations.

  • Strong analytical and process management skills.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation and argumentative skills. Together with strong customer orientation.
