What We Need

Corpay is currently hiring a Portfolio Manager for our Private Markets line of business in London, Paddington. In this role, you will be responsible for building a portfolio of high-value private capital market clients from the ground up through a blend of business development and prospecting activities. You will report directly to the Private Markets Strategist and regularly collaborate with Strategists, Sales Managers and the wider Private Markets colleagues.

As a Portfolio Manager, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in London, Paddington office. Monday - Friday office expectation.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Researching and qualifying potential clients to build a database of leads
  • Engaging and consulting with C-level executives of medium to large businesses
  • Sourcing and initiating new sales opportunities
  • Learning clients’ businesses and uncovering key problems and challenges
  • Educating clients on Corpay solutions and value proposition
  • Collaborating with analysts and strategists to build risk management solutions
  • Developing trusted relationships with existing portfolio clients
  • Retaining and growing portfolio revenue opportunities
  • Managing business development and account management activities
  • Learning to independently execute market transactions for clients

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in business development, sales, account management, financial services or related environment preferred
  • Bachelor degree preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision makers
  • Urgency and ability to take feedback onboard quickly
  • Ambition and motivation to develop professionally
  • Humility and high emotional intelligence
