Join Associated Bank as a Portfolio Manager supporting Commercial Real Estate clients through credit analysis, portfolio management, and relationship support. You’ll play a key role in evaluating loan opportunities, managing risk, and contributing to client growth. This role offers strong exposure to complex deals and opportunities to develop leadership and credit expertise.Key Accountabilities- Analyze borrower financials, property performance, and market data to evaluate new and existing loan opportunities
- Manage portfolio risk by monitoring loan performance and ensuring accurate, timely risk ratings
- Partner with Relationship Managers to support client relationships and deliver responsive service
- Prepare clear, comprehensive credit presentations and approval materials
- Ensure compliance with lending policies, regulatory guidelines, and internal procedures
- Monitor repayment activity, covenant compliance, and overall financial condition of borrowers
- Support due diligence and underwriting for new client opportunities and transactions
- Contribute to special projects and mentor junior team members as needed
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate or credit analysis
- 4+ years managing or analyzing complex credit transactions
Preferred:
- 3+ years in sales or business development
- 1+ year of formal credit training
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
