Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies.
Summary:
The candidate will join a team within the firm that focuses on designing, tracking, and implementing trading requirements across the firm, meeting Portfolio Managers needs and building strategic solutions. This is an opportunity for someone to have a material impact on helping to deliver critical functionality to the front office trading side of the firm.
- Analyze and prioritize incoming requests from Portfolio Managers
- Help onboard new Portfolio Managers into the firm, ensuring efficiency across the firm
- Relationship management with Portfolio Management teams, Technology, Operations, Market Data, Vendors
- Tracking/monitoring/analyzing all requirements and tasks across departments
- Coordinate efforts across multiple teams and report on current status
- Experience with process reengineering and business solution development
- Participate in implementation of strategic initiatives
Required:
- Strong personal skills, proactive and service oriented attitude while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in financial markets and working with Portfolio Management teams
- Deep Project Management and Business Analysis skills
- Experience in project management tracking software (JIRA, Monday.com, etc)
