About the Role
iCapital is looking for a Senior Vice President to join the Portfolio Management team who will be responsible for building and managing an evergreen portfolio of direct co-investments in deals alongside a prominent private equity sponsor with multiple investment strategies. This investment professional will play an integral role in helping grow our evergreen registered fund business.
Responsibilities
- Perform due diligence on new direct co-investment opportunities alongside a prominent private equity sponsor.
- Manage portfolio construction across multiple investment strategies.
- Discuss overall strategy, portfolio, and specific investments with existing and potential wealth platforms to grow AUM.
- Monitor the portfolio by reviewing quarterly updates and conducting calls with the private equity sponsor.
- Collaborate with various internal teams such as Distribution, Finance, Legal and Compliance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in private equity investing (co-investments and/or direct investments)
- Familiar with risk management in constructing a portfolio of private equity investments
- Involvement in fundraising discussions with potential investors
- Experience with evergreen and/or registered offerings is a plus
- Experience in the wealth space is a plus
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Able to problem-solve and make logical recommendations under pressure
- Professional and confident demeanor, including comfort interacting with senior personnel in the industry
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $250,000 to $300,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
