Having successfully built our presence in Luxembourg as a licensed AIFM and central administrator, we are now expanding into the French market. Our objective is to provide French alternative asset managers with a modern, fully digital, and regulation-compliant solution for managing alternative investment funds (AIFs) — including venture capital, private equity (FPCI, FCPR, FCPI), private debt, and fund of funds — while offering the same quality of governance and risk oversight that we deliver in Luxembourg.
As part of the upcoming authorization of our French subsidiary by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) as an AIFM management company, we are recruiting two (2) Portfolio Managers based in Paris, France.
About the role:Within our French subsidiary, the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for:
- Active management of AIFs (private equity, fund of funds, venture capital, ELTIFs, etc.) for institutional, professional, qualified, and retail investors;
- Designing, monitoring, and adjusting investment strategies in line with fund policies;
- Contributing to the structuring and launch of new funds in collaboration with fundcraft teams in Luxembourg, Spain and France;
- Conducting financial analysis, investment selection, and portfolio monitoring;
- Managing relationships with delegates and external stakeholders (advisors, depositaries, distributors, etc.);
- Preparing reports for investors and regulators in compliance with applicable requirements;
- or Day-to-day investment decisions, portfolio allocation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in asset management, gained within a licensed management company in France or another EU Member State.
- Proven track record in managing either PE funds (FPCI, FCPR, FCPI), VCs or fund of funds.
- Experience managing AIFs accessible to retail investors (such as FCPRs);
- Excellent knowledge of the AIFM regulatory framework and AMF expectations.
- AMF certification currently required (« Certification AMF »).
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, accountability, and autonomy.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Prior experience with ELTIFs would be a strong plus.
