Description
The Portfolio & IVDR Transition & Strategic Customer Communication (EMEA) Infectious Disease leads the IVDD to IVDR transition as the key EMEA Commercial & Marketing representative, acting as the main stakeholder of the IVDR project group.
We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Marketing Manager to lead the commercial transition from IVDD to IVDR across the EMEA region. This role will serve as a critical interface between Marketing, Commercial, Regulatory, and Customer-facing teams, ensuring that our messaging, pricing, and segmentation strategies are aligned with the evolving regulatory landscape and customer expectations.
The IVDR Transition & Strategic Customer Communication (EMEA) reports directly into the EMEA Marketing Director Infectious Disease
Main Responsibilities & Duties
- IVDR Transition Leadership
- Drive the marketing strategy and execution for IVDR transition across EMEA.
- Act as a central information broker, translating regulatory changes into actionable commercial insights.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, and Commercial teams to ensure timely and accurate communication.
- Manage translation agencies and adapt messaging by product, language, and customer segment.
- Customer Segmentation & Communication
- Develop and maintain customer segmentation frameworks tailored to IVDR impact and product portfolio.
- Consult with Marketing Director and other Marketing functions from global to local level as well as General Managers to define communication strategies per customer type and region.
- Manage translation agencies and adapt messaging by product, language, and customer segment.
- Pricing Analytics & Governance
- Lead pricing analysis and governance initiatives to support IVDR-related product changes.
- Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure pricing strategies are compliant, competitive, and customer centric.
- Strategic Communication Partner
- Serve as a sparring partner to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Ensure consistent and compliant messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- Support the development of customer-facing materials, FAQs, and transition guides.
- Portfolio Management
- Participation to ad-hoc special projects (regional / global)
- Therapeutic Area Manager support on key projects

Requirements
- Required behaviors & skills
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; PhD or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in diagnostics, medical devices, or life sciences.
- Strong understanding of IVDR/IVDD regulations and their commercial implications.
- Proven experience in customer segmentation, pricing strategy, and multilingual communication.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High level of comfort interpreting and communicating complex technical information, including clinical concepts, statistics and outcomes
- Cultural awareness and cross-country sensitivity
- Balanced mix of strategic and tactical focus
- Positive mindset and collaborative attitude to bring down barriers for goals
- Knows how to set up two–way communication and collaboration with regional marketing teams and with cross-functional teams in order to achieve business results
- Customer-oriented, autonomous and reliable work attitude
- Ability to travel 20% of the time (nationally and internationally)
