The Portfolio Head – Credit Cards is a key leadership opportunity to shape the future of Westpac’s Credit Cards portfolio across both Consumer Banking & Wealth (CBW) and Institutional & Business Banking (IBB).
In this role, you’ll set the strategic direction and bring it to life, leading the delivery of a forward-looking roadmap that drives measurable commercial outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and performance. You’ll be at the forefront of key initiatives, ensuring the portfolio remains competitive, innovative, and customer-centric.
You’ll also build strong relationships with industry and external partners, identifying opportunities, influencing outcomes, and strengthening Westpac’s market position. This includes leading Westpac’s Mastercard relationship, which is an important strategic partner for the bank.
As a senior leader, you’ll inspire and develop a high-performing team of product professionals, while playing a key role within the Everyday Banking Leadership Team contributing to strategic decision-making and delivering real commercial impact.

Product management experience within financial services.
Significant Cards experience.
Experience leading across a value chain, including driving a high-performance culture for your direct team (within financial services).
Demonstrated experience improving NPS, commercial, risk and people outcomes, including through data driven insights.
High levels of commercial acumen, leadership capability and delivery focus demonstrated through measurable results.
Proven experience managing third party relationships and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes
Influencing and relationship building to an Executive level, with dynamic story telling.
Ability to strategically review trends and macro customer behavioural shifts, and plan and refine initiatives accordingly
Strong stakeholder management - influence at all levels within the Financial Services industry
