Summary:
In this role, you will analyze pharmaceutical and healthcare market trends to develop strategic insights that inform portfolio performance and client engagement. You will support contracting strategies, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and contribute to the execution of pharmacy program initiatives. You will build relationships with suppliers and clients, evaluate financial and operational data, and help drive portfolio growth and value through informed decision-making and effective project coordination.
Responsibilities:
Analyze pharmaceutical, financial, and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
Support development of contracting strategies through research, financial analysis, and market insights.
Manage elements of the competitive bid process, including RFI and RFP development.
Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to execute pharmacy program initiatives.
Facilitate client and supplier meetings, including preparation of materials and documentation of outcomes.
Monitor portfolio performance, including tracking revenue, savings, and contract compliance.
Develop forecasts, budgets, and revenue projections aligned with portfolio objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contracting strategies with client needs and market conditions.
Communicate portfolio insights, contract updates, and industry trends to stakeholders.
Support development of marketing and communication materials to promote portfolio initiatives.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
2 or more years of relevant experience required.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry trends preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Experience with data analysis tools and reporting platforms preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers.
Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
