A Brief Overview
The Portfolio Development Manager (PDM) will assume a Regional Strategic Accounts Role for the Ultherapy consumable business, helping the brand to reach success milestones and meet growth objectives. The Portfolio Development Manager (PDM) will be responsible for initial and/or advanced Clinical and Marketing installation and training, plus all practice development related activities for the Merz Devices and device portfolio consumable products for their current territory and Key Regional Strategic Accounts. PDM will be responsible for driving patient acquisition and increase procedures within a practice in order to increase disposable sales within assigned territory. PDM will also be responsible for upselling other elements of the full portfolio, including skin care, during trainings, installations and practice development meetings. The PDM will also interact with PDS NSD, DTM RD's, Marketing and Training as a liaison between the field sales group and corporate. All information will be communicated in a compliant and ethical manner.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a quarterly business plan Develop and execute a quarterly business plan that includes account segmentation, forecasting, marketing and sales execution strategies and tactics for key account growth.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts Maintain and Grow, as outlined by sales objectives, existing and key strategic accounts
- Provide clinical training Provide clinical training related to new customer start up as well as advanced training on Ultherapy and Neocutis in order to improve clinical outcomes.
- Train practice staff how to sell the Ultherapy and Neocutis and train practice staff how to sell the Ultherapy and Neocutis procedure to potential patients through role playing and “see one, do one, teach one” technique.
- Train practice management personnel on available tools and resources Train practice management personnel on available tools and resources.
- Assist practice in planning their Ultherapy and Neocutis promotional program Assist practice in planning their Ultherapy and Neocutis promotional program; provide hands on executional assistance in adapting and implementing promotional tactics.
- Develop an individual account business plan Develop an individual account business plan to drive procedure growth and treatment pull through.
- Work with PDS Work with PDS in region who have regional strategic accounts in training, marketing and practice development
- Ensure timely response to device installation request Collaborates with DTM and Merz Customer Solutions to ensure timely response to device installation request.
- Assist in identifying, assisting, and coordinating local per diem clinical educators Assist in identifying, assisting, and coordinating local per diem clinical educators to ensure effective coverage at all times.
- Notifies Merz Aesthetic Device quality department regarding error codes Notifies Merz Aesthetic Device quality department regarding error codes and submits field incident reports as required.
- Collaborates with ITM and STM for cross sellin Collaborates with ITM and STM for cross selling and support opportunities
- Participate in corporate initiatives with marketing and sales Participate in corporate initiatives with marketing and sales.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in aesthetics in either a Clinical, Marketing or blended role
- 2+ years experience training others in clinical administration of aesthetic/ pharmaceutical products
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree BS/BA degree within clinical health care or business
- Extensive healthcare customer (physicians, nurses, practice specialists) experience a must: partnerships, collaboration and influence; experience in aesthetics
Technical & Functional Skills
- Direct creation of tools, processes and programs designed to drive patient volume at an owner-operated business level
- Demonstrated high level of Clinical and Business Acumen
- Ability to forge strong relationships with clients and utilize client relationships to increase device utilization and portfolio penetration
- Ability to understand and explain economic value as well as clinical performance comparison
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
