The Delivery, Strategy and Operations (DSO) team in the IT Division is looking for a Portfolio Analyst to join our team. As our Portfolio Analyst, you will partner closely with the IT Portfolio Lead and other stakeholders to ensure that our IT investments and initiatives align with strategic objectives and maximize value delivery. In your role, you will play a critical part in supporting the oversight and management of our IT portfolio, focusing on tracking performance, analyzing resource allocation, and shaping informed decision making. This role emphasizes data-driven analysis and reporting, coordination across teams and functional areas, and maintaining visibility into portfolio health.
You will report up through the Product and Portfolio Office that values innovation, independence of views, and a diverse and inclusive working environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Portfolio Lead to align the IT Portfolio with business and IT strategies, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value
- Track and report on portfolio key performance metrics, including budget, resource allocation, initiative progress, benefit realization, dependencies, and risks
- Produce and maintain portfolio dashboards and/or visualizations, providing real-time visibility into portfolio health, spend, status, and trends
- Maintain and administrate strategic project and portfolio management software, as well as related data repositories
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders, including project managers, product owners, business liaisons, and financial points-of-contact
- Analyze data to identify high-level trends, insights, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with Scrum master and technical teams to participate in agile ceremonies (showcases, retrospectives, sprint planning).
- Manage portfolio process documentation
- Support overall activities and responsibilities of the IT Portfolio Management team.
- Support the growth and execution of the Portfolio Management discipline across the Federal Reserve System
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience.
- 3+ years relevant experience as a data analyst, preferably within an agile team environment.
- Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style and can share technical ideas and approaches with others.
- IT Cloud Infrastructure, software development process and technical software experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Kanban, Agile, or Scrum processes.
- Experience with Clarity PPM or other strategic project and portfolio management software is a plus.
- Experience with Jira is a plus.
- Experience with FinOps is a plus.
- Proficient with Excel
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
- Travel (5%)
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident with 3 years of residency

Salary: $77,600-99,000
