Role Title: Port Operations Executive
Function: Customer Operations - Logistics
Location: Unilever Mega DC - Cabuyao, Laguna/Bonifacio Stopover Corporate Center (BGC)
The purpose of the role is to oversee the Port Operations of Unilever across all Business Units.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the International Transportation via Airfreight, Sea Freight, Rail.
- Manage the Day-to-Day Operations from Order Management to Delivery.
- Communicate with Supplier’s and Internal Stakeholders for the shipment update and relevant details.
- Manage the Customs Clearance and Regulatory Compliances, including post audits.
- Support Unilever Business Units Projects and Initiatives related to Import, Export.
- Drive Lead the transformation pertaining to Process improvements and digitization.
Accountability:
- Zero Delays and Delivery Loss related to Port Ops.
- Track and Improve Service Delivery, Intercompany Invoice Payments.
- Continuous Improvement and reduction of Incidentals (Demurrage, Detention).
- Budgeting for the FY Expenses (Freight and Delivery Cost).
- Manage 3PL Vendors KPIs.
- Compliance with the Global Freight Rates and Allocation.
- Permit Availability prior importation.
- Correctness and accuracy of Customs declarations.
- Validate and complete Post Audit declarations and Document completeness.
- Review the pre and post regulatory applications, including reporting and liquidation.
Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 Years experience in Supply Chain (Planning, Customer Service and Logistics).
- Experience in working and managing 3PL Performance.
- Knowledgeable in Customs Clearance, Incoterms, Global Trade regulations.
- Must be a licensed Customs Broker.
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Tools.
- High Analytical with Attention to Details .
- Ability to seize the big picture, deep dive into details when necessary and propose business solutions.
- Team Player and ability to manage cross functional teams.
- Ability to do Project Management.
