About the Internship:

Location: Kinshasa, DRC

Duration: 3–6 months

Language Requirement: Fluent English (French is an asset) 

Position Level: Internship 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Data Analysis & Visualization

• Support M&E teams by cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing polio project data using Excel and Tableau to track immunization coverage, outbreaks, or program performance.
• Assist in preparing reports/dashboards for stakeholders.

2. Project Monitoring & Reporting 

• Help monitor field operations and document progress against targets in the 3 EOC in 3 provinces of DR Congo. 
• Collaborate with teams to reconcile financial/operational data (leveraging CV’s experience in invoice management and account reconciliation).

3. Research & Documentation 

•  Contribute to literature reviews on polio eradication strategies
•  Draft summaries of field findings or case studies for internal use. 

4. Coordination Support 

•  Assist in organizing meetings, training sessions, or partner communications (CV’s leadership roles in student associations demonstrate coordination skills). 

5. Language & Communication 

• Translate documents between English/French if needed. 
• Support awareness campaigns by proofreading materials or engaging with communities. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s in Economics, Public Health, Data Science. 

2. Proficiency in Excel, Tableau and STATA.

3. Familiarity with statistical analysis.

4. Strong communication in English.

5. Time management and attention to detail.
