Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly talented Policy Officer to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will support the Office of Corporate Operations (DXC) by providing expert policy analysis and lifecycle management. You will help ensure the agency’s compliance with laws, regulations, and leadership objectives, directly contributing to our mission and strategic goals.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and review proposed agency policy documents.
Identify policy impacts, conflicts, or gaps with existing agency policies based on new or revised external issuances.
Advise and assist policy owners in drafting and coordinating agency corporate policies.
Ensure all policies meet established guidelines, standards, and goals for research, analysis, drafting, review, coordination, and publication.
Manage the adjudication of agency-wide responses within prescribed timelines.
Oversee the staffing process through to final publication.
Review existing agency policies on a bi-monthly basis to ensure they remain current.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement required updates.
Log and track internal and external issuances daily using the current recordkeeping system.
Follow all mandated requirements for records management.
Required Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or 15+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
At least 2 years of experience reviewing and analyzing high-level governance documents (such as agency directives, statutes, Executive Orders, or DoD/Executive Branch guidelines).
Demonstrated ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable policies.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
