About the role
As a part time, casual, or sub-contracting Podiatrist you will be providing high-quality treatment to our patients to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation and evaluation in a multi-disciplinary setting.
In this role you will be….
- Providing general foot care including assessing, diagnosing, treating and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb
- Conducting Diabetic foot health assessments
- Providing footwear and foot care advice and education
- Diagnosing and effectively treating musculoskeletal conditions via a range of treatments
- Providing biomechanical examinations and assessments
- Providing advice on Orthotic prescriptions and fittings
- Maintaining quality documentation and treatment planning procedures
- Making referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriate
