Job DescriptionIN A NUTSHELL
For this 2-year maternity cover, you’ll be a key producer within Red Bull’s Global Media Network, working on centrally produced flagship shows while supporting podcasts across our key networks and countries. You’ll lead the Athlete and Creator Podcast programmes from a production and editorial perspective, helping podcasters at every level plan, produce, clip and grow their shows across audio and social platforms. You’ll build and share best practices, develop training and toolkits for producers across the network, and contribute to the development of Red Bull’s podcast studio spaces. Throughout, you’ll bring a sharp understanding of how podcasts perform on social platforms to everything you produce.
GLOBAL PODCAST PRODUCTION
In this role, you’ll develop new podcast formats from research and ideation through to formalisation, laying the groundwork for best-in-class podcast content across the Global Media Network. You’ll ensure outstanding editorial quality and production standards on centrally produced podcasts, including live shows and other key formats. You’ll support key network and country podcasts with production expertise, including format and episode development, audience growth tactics, and optimisation based on clear performance insights. You’ll also bring a social distribution mindset to format development from the start, understanding how podcast content travels on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok and what makes a clip perform on each platform.
SUPPORT ATHLETE & CREATOR PODCASTS
You’ll lead both the Athlete and Creator Podcast programmes from a production and editorial perspective, upleveling their podcasts from development and production through to activation and distribution. Working with the Athlete Network/Marketing and Creator Marketing teams, you’ll define, create and deliver support for athletes and creators, helping them improve the quality and reach of their podcasts. You’ll develop and maintain clear frameworks (briefs, check-ins, feedback loops) to support athletes and creators in planning, producing and growing their podcasts in a consistent and scalable way. You’ll also help them grow their podcasts on social, advising on clip strategy, platform-specific mechanics and the editorial choices that make podcast moments travel on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
TRAINING, BEST PRACTICES & INTERNAL ENABLEMENT
You’ll develop and deliver workshops, training content and practical guidelines on podcast production, format development and audience growth for internal producers, markets, athletes and creators. You’ll identify and share best practices, tools and workflows from centrally and locally produced podcasts, turning successful projects into examples and case studies that can be replicated across the network. You’ll also create and maintain templates and toolkits (e.g., briefing documents, format bibles, production checklists) to support audio production across the Global Media Network.
RED BULL (MOBILE) STUDIO SUPPORT
You’ll identify opportunities for mobile recording studio setups and support their planning and production, particularly around key events and projects. You’ll define guidelines (e.g., branding, editorial standards, workflows) for Red Bull studio spaces and create best-in-class examples and case studies that can be shared across the Global Media Network.
Qualifications3+ years’ experience in the podcast industry
Production experience on successful video podcast productions (incl. event-based recordings)
Strong understanding of how podcasts work on social media, including the mechanics of YouTube, Instagram and TikTok from a podcasting perspective and what it takes for a podcast clip to perform
Ideation and development of existing and new formats, including translating insights and best practices into scalable concepts
Knowledge of the podcast landscape and ability to scope out content opportunities for owned, athlete-led and creator-led podcasts across markets
Ability to foster a network of production partners, talent, athletes and creators and collaborate with internal teams to bring them into productions and related initiatives
Additional InformationDue to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,509 gross per month.
