About Strategic Capabilities:

Gartner delivers actionable, objective insight to executives and their teams. Our Strategic Capabilities Team is developing Gartner’s AI Go-to-market strategy.

About this role:

We're looking for the founding Content Strategist of AI Daily Edge, Gartner's new podcast designed to help associates:

  • Stay current on the biggest AI developments without spending hours reading the news
  • Understand what matters to clients, executives, and industries
  • Build AI confidence to engage in conversations without being a technical expert
  • Get Gartner’s perspective on what developments mean and how we can help
  • Discover relevant research, tools, and assets our teams can immediately put to work with prospects / clients

This is an opportunity to shape how Gartner associates understand, discuss, and apply AI with clients every day. As the Content Strategist, you'll sit at the intersection of Gartner's AI strategy, research, and go-to-market efforts, helping translate emerging trends into practical insights that drive client value. If you’re someone who loves learning, synthesizing information, and helping others succeed, this role offers a unique platform to influence Gartner’s front-line associates.

We’re looking for curious, entrepreneurial thinkers to help shape Gartner’s evolving AI go-to-market strategy while gaining high-visibility experience, expanding their skills, and building relationships across the business. You’ll influence how thousands of associates engage clients on AI—building valuable experiences, capabilities, and connections that will accelerate your career growth.

What you’ll do:

Editorial Strategy, Storytelling & Writing

•       Leverage strong writing skills to develop AI-assisted scripts, conversation outlines, host briefing materials and supporting communications.

•       Partner with the Executive Producer, podcast host, and guests to shape episode topics, narratives, discussion guides, and programming.

•       Transform complex AI trends, Gartner research, product innovations, and market developments into engaging, conversational content for sales.

•       Bring creativity, curiosity, and strong editorial judgment to identify compelling stories and fresh angles that keep programming timely and relevant.

•       Influence the editorial roadmap, content backlog, and programming calendar for Gartner's flagship daily AI podcast.

Research, Insights & Stakeholder Management

•       Proactively identify “podcast-worthy” AI developments that are relevant to our clients and front-line associates

•       Synthesize podcast content from a variety of insight sources (Gartner First Takes, Research, news, analysts, etc.)

•       Bring to life Gartner’s strongest AI positions and related capabilities across all recorded content

•       Collaborate across BTI role leaders, GSSO Sales & Service Enablement, Product Management, and other key stakeholders.

•       Fact-check data, quotes, and research inputs prior to recording sessions

Editorial Operations & Program Management

•       Coordinate across stakeholders to align content priorities with upcoming product launches, research releases, events, and business objectives, etc.

•       Partner with hosts, guests, and production teams to continuously improve episode quality, audience experience, and operational scalability.

•       Write show notes, episode summaries, promotional content, and internal communications that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption.

•       Measure feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure programming reinforces the most important AI insights and Gartner differentiators.

What you’ll need:

Minimum Qualifications

•       Prior experience in Gartner Research, Sales, or enablement role supporting Sales

•       5+ years of professional writing experience

•       Research skills: ability to quickly digest technical, B2B, or corporate information and synthesize it into clear, engaging narratives

•       Writing portfolio: a strong portfolio showcasing conversational writing, specifically audio/video scripts, narrative essays, or interview frameworks

•       Audio fluency: proven understanding of writing “for the ear” (using short sentences, active verbs, natural rhythm, and clear verbal transitions)

•       Collaboration: strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with producers, hosts, executives, and cross-functional partners

•       Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

•       Experience writing for executive leadership or C-suite audience, with a focus on audio scriptwriting, podcast writing, broadcast journalism, corporate communications or narrative storytelling

•       Background in B2B marketing, journalism, or public relations
