Project Management Officer – PMO
Job Purpose :
- The PMO is a critical role that helps Senior Leaders effectively manage their priorities, facilitate the governance and act as an interface to connect the dots with their teams and the rest of the organization.
- The PMO role often includes components of strategy, facilitation (enabling leaderships team to work together and getting to decision faster), project management (leading highly important projects in white spaces), and bridges building (connecting the dots within the leadership team and with the rest of the organization).
- The PMO partners closely with both the GM and leadership team (LT) on a daily basis to run and monitor priorities and deliver high impact projects.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic, tactical and operational support to initiatives supporting growth and innovation for GBU
- Lead GBU governance and strategic agenda
- Drive transversal projects with the Leadership Team
- Support meetings hosted by GM (GBU Leadership Team, Governance meetings)
- Follow up the meeting outcomes and action items
- Help sustaining the right environment & support for Leadership Team
- Conduct analysis and create presentations to advance GBU agenda
- Lead, coordinate or support projects and initiatives for business growth and delivering on priorities within GBU and as One Sanofi
- Initiate projects to accelerate transformation
- Work on improving existing project management methodology (process, tool)
- Collaborate with all departments for alignment and impact
- Support the development of innovation initiatives in country and facilitate the follow of their roll-out
- Set up and maintain GBU governance to align MC on key strategic priorities throughout the year (MC meetings, offsite meeting, townhalls, performance reviews, country visits, etc.).
- Drive business planning and analytics activities (e.g., budget process, data management)
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Project Management
- Experience in leading project teams involving different functions is a plus.
- Understanding of the market, competition and future trends, and good understanding of our value chain.
- Ability to take data-driven decisions based on customer needs.
- Ability to manage relationships across various stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills as well as influence, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Fluent in English and Arabic language
