About the role
A member of the GIS PMO Organization who will ensure transparency to the GIS PMO Steering Committee on project performance, highlight potential issues, and recommend corrective actions. Works with the project teams to ensure that projects are delivered successfully which contribute to the organization’s strategic objectives.

Daily challenges

  • Monitoring key projects prioritized by the GIS PMO Steering. This involves working with the project managers to ensure tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), milestone and deliverables to ensure we hold people accountable to what the project is to deliver. 
  • Works closely with the project teams to understand and assist in any risks, issues, and help needed to prevent derailed projects utilizing your project management expertise and knowledge of the DXC organizations.
  • Overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be on time within authorized cost and to the required quality. 
  • Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
  • Works with team members in different time zones for project activities
  • Collaborates with project teams to define clear project objectives and deliverables.
  • Monitors project progress, identify and manage issues and risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepares project status reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Drives teamwork and collaboration among project team members.
  • Ensures that projects align with departmental and company strategies.

eXperience and skills required 

  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • A dedication to ongoing learning and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Fluency in English.
