Tower Profile 

The Platform Integration and Enablement organization is responsible for delivering, operating, and continuously improving the foundational infrastructure platforms that enable TJX applications and enterprise services. PIE provides resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure capabilities across data centers, cloud environments, stores, and distribution centers, forming the core platform layer on which application teams build and run solutions.    

 

 

What you’ll do 

As a Senior Staff Scrum Master, your core responsibilities will include managing the flow of work throughout the tower, assisting teams to clear obstacles, managing risks, resolving issues, and delivering on commitments. You will work closely with the Product, Delivery, and Engineering teams, planning, coordinating, and executing the deployment into production for large epics/initiatives that span multiple product and shared services teams.  

 

What you’ll need 

We seek creative, customer-focused individuals with technical knowledge and a mindset for continuous improvement that have significant experience working with Agile Methodology and Software Development Lifecycle and leading moderate to complex assignments. Individuals must have significant experience working with Product Requirements, Solution Design and stakeholder management. 

Advanced knowledge in Lean Agile Mindset, excellent communication skills and influencing skills combined with paradoxical & Agile Thinking 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of experience in technology delivery, including 7+ years’ operating in Agile environments as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Technical Delivery Lead utilizing Scrum and SAFe frameworks.  

  • Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master or Program Manager supporting Infrastructure & Operations initiatives, including cloud, platform, database, middleware, network, and data center programs. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and track delivery of infrastructure projects, releases, migrations, upgrades, patching activities, and production deployments using Agile and enterprise delivery tools. 

  • Experience establishing and reporting delivery metrics, operational KPIs, flow metrics, and program health indicators to measure team performance and drive continuous improvement. 

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networking, compute, storage, databases, backup and recovery, monitoring, scheduling, middleware, and cloud platforms. 

  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting ART planning, readiness activities, dependency management, and cross-team coordination across multiple infrastructure workstreams. 

  • Expertise in Kanban practices, flow optimization, and Flow Board management to improve predictability and throughput for operational and infrastructure teams. 

  • Proven ability to identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, blockers, and technical dependencies while driving timely resolution across engineering and support organizations. 

  • Experience collaborating with infrastructure engineers, architects, operations teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans. 

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise delivery and operational processes, leveraging tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Power BI to drive transparency, governance, and execution. 

  • Experience supporting infrastructure change management, release management, incident management, and production readiness activities within regulated enterprise environments. 

  • Ability to influence outcomes beyond the immediate team by driving process improvements, standardization, and operational efficiencies across teams, programs, and Agile Release Trains (ARTs). 

  • Proven track record of mentoring Scrum Masters, facilitating Communities of Practice, and promoting Agile best practices across the organization. 

  • Strong customer-focus and service-oriented mindset with the ability to balance delivery commitments, operational stability, and business priorities. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical and delivery status to engineers, leadership, and business stakeholders. 

  • Experience supporting multiple teams or complex infrastructure portfolios while maintaining delivery alignment, operational excellence, and organizational objectives. 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Proven expertise leading Agile delivery across Infrastructure & Operations programs, including platform modernization, cloud adoption, operating system upgrades, database refreshes, network initiatives, and large-scale migration efforts.  

  • Strong experience facilitating Scrum and SAFe ceremonies at both team and ART levels, including Sprint Planning, PI Planning, Release Planning, Inspect & Adapt, and Scrum of Scrums.  

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple cross-functional teams delivering concurrent releases, infrastructure migrations, production deployments, and operational initiatives while maintaining alignment with portfolio and release objectives.  

  • Experience partnering with Infrastructure Engineering, Security, Mainframe, Platform, and Operations teams to manage, prioritize, and track work across multiple initiatives and dependencies.  

  • Strong infrastructure domain knowledge including AIX, SQL Server, Oracle Cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, backup and recovery, monitoring, scheduling, and platform lifecycle management.  

  • Solid understanding of network and security concepts, including firewalls, load balancing, Zero Trust architecture, vulnerability management, and micro-segmentation.  

  • Proven ability to establish and monitor delivery, flow, operational, and quality metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to improve predictability, team performance, and delivery outcomes.  

  • Experience leveraging Agile and enterprise tools including Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, ServiceNow, Mural, and Power BI to drive governance, transparency, reporting, and execution.  

  • Strong understanding of Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps practices, SDP controls, change management, release management, and operational readiness processes.  

  • Demonstrated success managing risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations while proactively driving resolution across teams and leadership stakeholders.  

  • Ability to protect teams from external disruptions, improve flow efficiency, support ART readiness activities, and optimize Kanban and Agile delivery practices.  

  • Proven experience fostering high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and servant leadership, including mentoring less experienced Scrum Masters and leading Communities of Practice.  

  • Experience collaborating with business partners, product teams, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements, document acceptance criteria, and align delivery outcomes with business objectives.  

  • Strong customer-focused mindset with exceptional communication, facilitation, influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences.  

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, effectively reprioritize competing demands, and drive continuous improvement through innovation and problem-solving.  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technology delivery experience required.  

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), or related Agile certification preferred. 

  • Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe certification preferred. 

  • Hands-on experience participating in and leading Scrum/SAFe events, such as Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and Program Increment (PI) Planning
