DIS-TRAN Steel is seeking a PMO Manager to lead our project and proposal support teams while driving consistency, accountability, and process improvement across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, planning, and building efficient systems. You'll work closely with estimating, engineering, detailing, procurement, production, sales, and customers to ensure projects move smoothly from proposal through production.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the Team
- Manage and develop project and proposal support personnel.
- Set clear expectations and drive accountability.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Drive Project Execution
- Oversee project coordination, schedules, documentation, and customer communications.
- Ensure accurate and timely handoffs between departments.
- Monitor project progress and help resolve issues before they impact delivery. Improve Processes
- Standardize workflows and improve efficiency.
- Develop tools, reports, and processes that increase visibility and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and customer satisfaction. Support Customers
- Ensure customers receive accurate information and timely updates.
- Build strong working relationships through dependable execution and communication.
