About the Company:

World is a network of real humans, built on privacy-preserving proof-of-human technology, and powered by a globally inclusive financial network that enables the free flow of digital assets for all. It is built to connect, empower, and be owned by everyone.

About the Team

Central Operations defines how the World project comes to life in the field. We design the service model, ensure operators succeed at scale, and drive quality, compliance, and user trust across every market. Our team partners closely with Product, Customer Experience, Marketing, Legal, Comms, Logistics, and Operations to make World accessible, reliable, and human-centered everywhere it launches.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned operations leader to join Central Operations as PMO Lead. In this role, you’ll own and evolve the global partner lifecycle, compliance, and location quality programs that ensure Project Orbital runs with excellence at scale.

This is not just an operational role: it’s a chance to bridge policy into reality, translating frameworks into daily execution across dozens of markets. You’ll manage high-volume, time-sensitive workflows, but also improve the systems and programs that make Orb deployment possible. If you’re energized by building at global scale, solving diverse challenges, and shaping how a frontier technology project runs in the real world, this role is for you.

Core Responsibilities
  • Program Execution & Evolution

    • Lead and improve global programs, ensuring they deliver real-time compliance and accountability. Iterate fast for quick learning and improvement.

    • Build back-office tools to streamline operational processes.

    • Enforce policies and coordinate with cross-functional teams for incident resolution.

    • Operate balancing global consistency with local flexibility.

  • Collaboration with Product

    • Partner closely with Product Managers to define and refine program needs.

    • Draft clear, actionable PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) that translate operational challenges into product solutions.

    • Coordinate pilots for new tools, features, and workflows; provide field-driven feedback to improve adoption and outcomes.

  • Insights & Communication

    • Provide timely reporting and insights to local teams, enabling them to resolve compliance issues quickly.

    • Serve as the communication bridge between Central Ops and field markets.

  • Operational Efficiency & Vendor Management

    • Manage vendor and contractor workflows for business-as-usual processes, ensuring accuracy and cost control.

    • Drive negotiations, procurement and delivery of branded resources (gear, equipment, swag) that power field operations.

  • Leadership & Coaching

    • Provide actionable feedback to less experienced team members and contractors.

    • Influence planning and timelines across compliance and partner management programs.

About You
  • 6–8+ years of experience in operations or program management in fast-scaling environments.

  • Proven track record of managing daily operational workflows at scale while improving systems and processes.

  • Experience collaborating with Product teams: drafting PRDs, shaping requirements, and participating in testing cycles.

  • Strong judgment and ability to resolve diverse, complex issues in creative, practical ways.

  • Experience working cross-functionally.

  • Excellent communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.

  • Comfortable managing vendors, contractors, and distributed teams.

Hands-on mindset: equally strong in executional detail and strategic program thinking.
