We’re one of the world’s oldest start-ups, and we’re just getting started.

At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we’re shaping the future, and we want you to be part of it.

We are now scaling the use of AI across Husqvarna Group and are looking for an PMO Lead to help turn AI initiatives into measurable business value.

You will join our AI Hub, our AI Center of Excellence, working at the intersection of business and technology to accelerate the leverage and value of AI.

About the role:

In this role, you will enable the effective operation and continued development of our AI Hub. You will provide structure, coordination, governance, and transparent reporting across the Hub, helping ensure that priorities, decisions and AI initiatives are translated into measurable business value.

Acting as a central coordination point, you will connect the AI Hub with our business divisions, Group Functions, GIS/IT, Product Owners, Transformation Leads and governance bodies. The role combines hands-on program management with the development of scalable processes, tools and ways of working.  You will build visibility into how AI investments impact business outcomes, supporting leaders in making informed decisions on priorities, investments, and long-term direction.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the integrated AI Hub roadmap, coordinating milestones, dependencies, risks, decision points and progress against agreed priorities.
  • Design governance structure, set success measures, and establish execution roadmap before launch.
  • Own and continuously develop the AI Hub Value Realization Framework, establishing consistent principles and tools for identifying, tracking and reporting business value.
  • Develop executive-level narratives and board-ready materials that translate complex analysis into decision-forcing stories on strategic priorities.
  • Own the governance calendar and ensure key forums are supported by clear agendas, decision-relevant information, documented outcomes and consistent follow-up.
  • Maintain and evolve a consolidated view of the AI portfolio, partnering closely with Product Owners and GIS/IT to synthesize delivery information, risks, dependencies and outcomes into clear reporting and actionable insights for different stakeholders.
  • Strengthen direction and collaboration across business divisions, Group Functions and GIS/IT by clarifying responsibilities, working routines and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Design and improve practical processes, templates and working methods that support planning, prioritization, delivery tracking and benefits realization.
  • Partner with Finance and Product Strategy to develop business cases for key initiatives, connecting strategic direction to capital allocation.
  • Own the Increment Preparation process by defining roles, timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely planning and stakeholder communication, and continuously improving ways of working.

You will report to our VP of AI Value Acceleration.

About you:

You’re a structured, proactive and pragmatic program management professional who enjoys bringing clarity to complex, cross-functional environments. You combine strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture, and you are comfortable coordinating multiple initiatives, creating alignment and communicating with senior stakeholders.

You know how to establish effective governance without creating unnecessary administration. You follow through on commitments and can develop processes and frameworks that are rigorous, practical, and easy for others to use.

Your skills and background:

  • A university degree in engineering, business, economics, or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A background in management consulting, corporate strategy, portfolio management, or transformation and program leadership in complex, cross-functional environments, or equivalent experience in a corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing governance, planning, reporting, and tracking business value and outcomes across a portfolio of initiatives.
  • Experience operating at senior management level, with the credibility and confidence to engage effectively with executive stakeholders and influence strategic discussions.
  • Structural and strategic thinking, with the ability to understand the bigger picture, synthesize complex information, and identify connections across teams, initiatives and priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams without direct authority; comfort with ambiguity.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages and recommendations to different audiences.
  • Capacity to design processes and frameworks that balance consistency, rigor and ease of use.
  • Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint, capable of building financial models, scenario analyses, and strategic presentations at board level.
  • Experience with digital transformation, AI, analytics or technology-enabled business change is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
