Osmose is currently seeking a Fall Data Analyst Intern (August - December) in our Project Management Department to become an integral part of our team this summer! You will analyze data to understand business and market trends in order to increase company revenue and efficiency.
This position is based at our corporate office in downtown Atlanta, GA Preference will be given to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, math or computer science with focus on database management.
Responsibilities- Generate project dashboards and reports
- Use data to understand business patterns and trends
- Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research
- Communicate findings to company through standard and ad hoc reports
- Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Must be currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Previous experience in business intelligence, analysis, or other related field
- Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Must be a self-starter with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and the ability to lead presentations with confidence
- Candidates with basic programming experience with tools such as MATLAB are preferred
