This is an exciting opportunity to join the market Post Trade Technology team as an experienced Project Manager / Business
Analyst . Market Post Trade objective is to standardize Barclays Global Market
Operations processes, execute the regulatory agenda, strengthen the control
environment and support the executions of the infrastructure services strategy,
including collaboration and hosting initiatives. In this role, you will work in
Japan, one of the most complex service centers with many specialized teams
onshore to support the full trade lifecycle. And you will also work with Front,
Middle and Back office users as well as local & global technology teams,
managing requirement analysis and responsible for all deliveries covering
business growth initiatives, regulatory mandates, control enhancement and
operations support work. In this role, you will gain experience a wider range
of different financial products and front-to-back flow. We are working together
to design and contribute to a bright future for Market Post Trade.
Must have :
- Prior experience as a PM/BA with strong knowledge of how projects are run
and managed in both waterfall and agile based environments.
- Experience working on multiple asset classes (FX, Rates, Equities, Prime,
FIF etc.) with knowledge across different post trade processes like
settlements, reporting, asset servicing, trade validation, confirmations etc.
- Bilingual in English and Japanese to communicate with business stake
holders, other IT teams and external vendors.
- Understanding of the local market, processes and regulations within Japan
including domestic settlement and reporting infrastructure and requirements.
- Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a very dynamic
environment, with rapidly changing priorities and under little supervision
- Soft skillset on influence, documentation, communication and leadership
Skills Required
- Prior experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst with knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience across multiple asset classes (FX, Rates, Equities, Prime, FIF) and post-trade processes (settlements, reporting, asset servicing, trade validation, confirmations).
- Bilingual in English and Japanese.
- Understanding of Japan market processes and regulations, including domestic settlement and reporting infrastructure.
- Self-starter able to work in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities and minimal supervision.
- Strong influence, documentation, communication and leadership skills (soft skills).
