About the Role
We’re looking for a PLM Technical Specialist to join our team and play a key role in enhancing, supporting, and evolving our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure our PLM systems, processes, and insights effectively support engineering and business needs. Key Responsibilities:
1.PLM System Enhancement & Optimization
Partner with the PLM Technical Lead to identify, design, and implement PLM system enhancements that improve usability, performance, and integration with enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, CAD, MES).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Configure, test, and deploy PLM enhancements, workflows, and automation aligned with R&D and business objectives.
Support system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and data integrity.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, change logs, and user guides.
2.Training & User Enablement
Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for new and existing users.
Collaborate with the R&D Digital team to develop and maintain learning materials such as guides, FAQs, and training videos.
Provide day-to-day user support and act as a subject matter expert (SME) for PLM tools and processes.
Promote best practices and standardisation across global R&D teams.
3.Reporting & Analytics
Design and maintain PLM dashboards and reports to track key metrics such as document status, change cycle time, and data quality.
Analyse PLM data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support management and project teams with ad hoc data extraction, analysis, and visualisation.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of PLM data used for reporting and decision-making.
4.Team Contribution
Follow quality procedures to deliver high-quality products and services and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute ideas to enhance systems, processes, and ways of working.
Work safely by complying with all safety procedures and reporting any workplace hazards or incidents.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in PLM system support, enhancement, or administration.
Strong knowledge of PLM systems and processes, including change management and document control.
Hands-on experience with PLM platforms such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or Dassault ENOVIA.
Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting or visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, ThingWorx).
Experience delivering user training programs.
Basic knowledge of scripting or customisation (Java, XML, SQL) is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
Basic project management experience or exposure to supporting project delivery and process improvements.
