Senior PLM Business Analyst (m/f/d)

Mission Brief 

We are looking for a Senior PLM Business Analyst to drive the continuous evolution of our PLM landscape. In this role, you will partner with engineering and business stakeholders to design future-ready processes and translate them into effective Teamcenter solutions, ensuring seamless integration across the digital thread with ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.

Your Role in Our Space Mission 

System Expertise & Configuration

• Lead the analysis, design, and continuous improvement of engineering and product lifecycle management (PLM) business processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Teamcenter solutions.
• Drive process standardization and promote PLM best practices, ensuring alignment between business objectives and system capabilities.
• Define functional specifications, support solution design, and work closely with internal and external development teams throughout implementation and testing.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business users by supporting user adoption, facilitating workshops, and own the long-term PLM roadmap.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage PLM project timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time and on-scope delivery

Qualification Checklist 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Process Consultant in a PLM environment, with hands-on experience in Teamcenter or a comparable PLM platform.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes such as product structures, engineering change management, document management, CAD data management, and configuration management.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops, analyze complex business requirements, and translate them into practical, user-centric system solutions.

Spoken Languages:

• Proficiency in English is essential.
• German language can be beneficial.
