Job Description
As a PLM Solution Developer at JCI, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions that support our product development processes. This role requires extensive experience in PLM technologies, software development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
How you will do it:
- Develop and customize PLM solutions to meet business requirements and enhance product development cycles.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and engineers to gather and analyze requirements for PLM applications.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python to create and implement PLM functionalities.
- Design and maintain data models, workflows, and integrations between PLM systems and other enterprise applications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed PLM solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions to foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in PLM technologies to recommend enhancements and innovations.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in PLM software development or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in PLM tools such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or similar platforms.
- Experience in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with database management systems and data integration techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders.
