Job DescriptionPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Modification and development of PLC programs for production equipment.
- Support application and integration of Manufacturing Execution System in the plant.
- Support technical discussions with external/internal departments.
- Provide proposals for plant system improvement.
- Cooperation with development departments, support improvement of traceability.
- Plan, lead, and execute new technology projects with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain project schedules, provide regular project updates, maintain contact with project staff.
- Debug and test PLC and HMI software.
- Installation and development of projects involving new technologies based on Co-Bot programming.
- Provide support to Plant's new technology strategies based on Co-Bots, PLC and HMI programming.
EDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
- Engineering degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Electromechanics, or related technical field.
- Bilingual (Spanish and advanced English).
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3 or more years of experience in programming PLC.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to provide Customer Service/Feedback on the spot.
- Experience with PLC/IPC, networks, communications.
- Experience in implementation of Nexeed MES solutions (OpCon Classic, OpCon+), Robotics, Siemens, Rockwell, Festo is a plus
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.
- Co-Bots and Robots knowledge preferred
