What you'll be doing:

  • Provide technical leadership on multi discipline engineering projects.
  • Work closely with multiple groups across the organization.
  • Defining requirements and specification for wafer handling systems.
  • Architectural and detailed and design of Programmable Logic Controls systems managing product operation, while maintaining total human and wafer safety.
  • Implements concepts for variety of complex product issues and electrical solutions of difficult scope.

  • Selecting appropriate technologies and vendors.

What you should have?

  • Understanding of analog and digital electronics principles, programming and communication protocols, familiarity with PLC, robotics, motors, drivers, sensors, servo controllers.
  • Proven experience in designing and programming PLC systems, preferably in industrial automation. Strong knowledge of PLC hardware, software, and programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, FBD, structured text).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to PLC design and safety (e.g., IEC 61131, ISO 13849).
  • Knowledge of other automation technologies, such as SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication protocols, is a plus.
  • Project management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Degree in electrical engineering or related field with design experience of 4 years or more.
