Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Write and execute end-to-end automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Perform defect analysis, troubleshoot test failures, and support developers in issue resolution.
- Document test strategies, scenarios, and outcomes.
- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software test automation.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerized test execution (e.g., Docker).
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Exposure to test reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications (preferred).
