Your Role
As a Platform System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, validating, deploying, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure platforms that power healthcare imaging solutions, including PACS and Radiology Informatics systems.
You will work closely with R&D, Product Engineering, Support, and Customer teams to ensure platform scalability, performance, reliability, security, and operational excellence across customer environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain platform architectures for enterprise healthcare imaging solutions.
Define infrastructure standards, deployment models, and system sizing recommendations.
Evaluate new technologies and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support virtualization, storage, networking, operating systems, and cloud platforms.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, performance, and reliability issues.
Develop automation scripts and tools to improve infrastructure monitoring and usage analytics.
Participate in platform validation, performance testing, and capacity planning.
Drive platform security, system hardening, patching, and compliance activities.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Support customer escalations, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You're the Right Fit If
Experience
7+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, System Administration, or Solution Architecture.
Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise platforms.
Experience working in global and cross-functional environments.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and virtualization technologies.
Good understanding of Windows Server and Linux platforms.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.
Experience with enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, and backup solutions.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Hands-on scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and/or Python.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) is an advantage.
Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts.
Healthcare & Product Knowledge
Experience with Healthcare IT, Medical Imaging, PACS, RIS, VNA, DICOM, or HL7 is preferred.
Understanding of enterprise software deployment and product lifecycle processes.
Experience with system documentation, BOMs, validation documents, and traceability matrices.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architecture decisions.
