Description:

The platform product manager shall have senior product management experience working on building, automating, and operating hybrid-infrastructure developer platforms (private and commercial cloud infrastructure) at a programmatic level. The product manager will be familiar at managing agile software and extreme programming practices including but not limited to managing and grooming the team's backlog, working to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle, and defining the right key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the products performance, and managing the team rituals. The product manager will work with the government to assess business value and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that align with strategy, and work with all stakeholders to make tradeoff decisions regarding competing priorities. The product manager shall have the ability to present both internal and external stakeholders. The most successful candidate has prior experience supporting automation of platform management at enterprise scale and is familiar with Cloud Infrastructure providers or VMWare vSphere as well as VMWare Tanzu Application Services (TAS. Formerly known as PCF).

Standard Level Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

• Three-plus (3+) years of experience managed DevSecOPs/DevOps Agile Software projects

• Three-plus (3+) years of experience managing developer platform services and APIs that scale in production.

• Resume demonstrates deep understanding of modern microservices architectures, design patterns, resiliency techniques, and optimizations.

Principal Level Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

• Five-plus (5+) years of experience leading teams building and developing containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Container Orchestration Mesos, etc.

• Five-plus (5+) years of experience managing the building of developer platform services and APIs that scale in production.

• Five-plus (5+) years of experience leading teams building production services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Three-plus (3+) years of experience in Identity and Access Lifecycle Management Operations and Controls.

• Resume demonstrates deep understanding of modern microservices architectures, design patterns, resiliency techniques, and optimizations.

• Manage, report, and facilitate certification of access for all in-scope resources (including SaaS, AWS, Azure, CSS managed applications, tools, and systems).

Master Level Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

• Ten-plus (10+) years of experience leading teams building and developing containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Container Orchestration, Mesos, etc.

• Ten-plus (10+) years of experience managing the building of developer platform services and APIs that scale in production.

• Ten-plus (10+) years of experience managing production services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Ten-plus (10+) years of experience in Identity and Access Lifecycle Management Operations and Controls.

• Resume demonstrates deep understanding of modern microservices architectures, design patterns, resiliency techniques, and optimizations.
