Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.<br><b>About the Role:</b><br>CrowdStrike Services is seeking a Senior Platform Operations Consultant responsible for the planning, deployment, and operational support of the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform and related applications. The Senior Platform Consultant role requires a wide range of technical skills such as knowledge of cloud security best practices, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, scripting, and infrastructure as code.<br>The Senior Platform Consultant will have responsibility for all aspects of the deployment from the initial customer engagement, planning, installation, optimization, and follow-on support for the CrowdStrike cloud modules & applications including Cloud Workload Protection (CWP), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Application Security Posture Management (ASPM).<br><b>What You'll Do: </b><br>Deployment and Operations activities may include:<br><ul><li>Provide technical expertise related to implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting assistance with the deployment of the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform and associated applications/modules</li><li>Support modification of scripts to deploy Falcon Cloud Security solutions with Bash, PowerShell, CloudFormation and Terraform</li><li>Troubleshoot customer deployment issues across small to large enterprises</li><li>Utilize and engineer native and 3rd party software deployment technologies</li><li>Develop scripts and processes around Falcon sensor deployment</li><li>Plan and report software deployment status</li><li>Work closely and collaboratively with customer information technology teams</li><li>Provide mentorship and guidance to the Platform Operations team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement</li><li>Conduct training sessions to promote the adoption of cloud platform best practices across the organization</li><li>Leveraging CrowdStrike applications to support customers in vulnerability and asset management</li><li>Assist customers with the integration of CrowdStrike into existing tools</li><li>Support both Incident Response and Compromise Assessment teams with deployment of Falcon modules, internal tools, and scripts required for collection of data</li><li>Work closely and collaboratively with Platform Operations team to lead educational series for the Falcon Cloud Security and related applications</li><li>Facilitate working relationship between product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams</li></ul><br>Examples of projects include:<br><ul><li>Guiding customers that want to deploy (Falcon) agents to ECS Fargate or Google Cloud Run.</li><li>Guiding customers deploying Falcon Helm charts or Operators to Kubernetes clusters.</li><li>Helping customers to integrate Falcon (CSPM) with AWS accounts, GCP projects, or Azure tenants with Bash, Terraform or APIs</li><li>Ability to travel up to 25% of the time</li></ul><br><b>What You'll Need: </b><br>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, and 5+ years of experience performing IT deployments or in an end user/customer environment, as well as experience with the following:<br><ul><li>Cloud platform expertise and certifications for AWS, Azure, or GCP</li><li>Extensive knowledge of at least one public cloud</li><li>Extensive knowledge of cloud and container deployment technologies</li><li>Strong knowledge of CSPM</li><li>Expertise in Linux administration and usage of CLI</li><li>Extensive experience scripting with Bash and/or Python (PowerShell is a plus)</li><li>Proficiency Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms</li><li>Comprehensive customer facing consulting experience</li><li>Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Broad experience in overall cloud, computer, and network systems security</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems</li><li>Results driven, self-starter with high level of motivation</li><li>Excellent time management with the ability to lead multiple customer engagements</li></ul><br><b>Preferred:</b><br><ul><li>Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI</li><li>Container: EKS, AKS, GKE, ECS, OpenShift, Docker</li><li>Registry: ECR, GCR, ACR, JFROG Artifactory, Docker Hub, Red Hat OpenShift</li><li>Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Mac</li><li>Deployment: Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm</li><li>Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Batch</li><li>Development: GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, including knowledge of code and repository management best practices</li><li>Cloud The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $100,000 - $165,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
