Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing financial data within platform systems. For example, you’ll assist in ensuring contractual terms are accurately configured within core platform systems.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy across platforms.
- Support the implementation of data governance processes within platform environments.
- Assist in documenting data flows and platform configurations related to finance.
- Support the operationalization of finance solutions for new and existing platform integrations.
- Participate in the development and execution of testing frameworks for financial reporting and platform integrations.
- Conduct Finance User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on platform-related financial functionalities.
- Assist in identifying and documenting testing outcomes and issues.
- Assist in investigating and resolving data anomalies and reporting issues within platform environments.
- Identify opportunities to improve data processes and workflows within platform operations and assist in the implementation.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a finance or data-related role.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and data management principles.
- Familiarity with data manipulation tools (e.g., Excel) and basic database concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to write SQL and/or previous exposure to Netsuite is a plus.
- The ability to work in a consultative manner and across multiple deliverables at once.
- High attention to detail, embrace challenges, be eager to learn, having a growth mindset
- An effective and inclusive stakeholder manager, able to unite ideas and shared cross-functional objectives
